Use the form below to share your examples of how the process of studying to become a physiotherapist can be made more inclusive and accessible.
Equity, diversity and belonging are at the heart of excellent learning experiences. We want to focus on ensuring that those involved with physiotherapy education – whether in university or on placement – understand their legal, professional and ethical obligations.
As part of this, we want to showcase all the good practice and positive action that’s already happening – whether that's reasonable adjustments, how to make the most of technological advances, and/or tips and advice to make studying and being on placement easier for those with a health condition or disability. These need to be normal practice.
Whether you're a practice educator, lecturer, student or recent graduate, we would like to hear your fantastic examples. We want to capture and share this great practice, in order to:
- Allow members to share practical ideas for supporting learners with a disability or health condition within different settings.
- Give members the opportunity to learn from and inspire each other with their suggestions and recommendations.
Selected case studies will appear in this section of the website for others to view.
Thank you for taking the time to fill in the form!
