The 2022 Council elections nominations are now closed. There are 13 candidates standing for election, listed alphabetically below.
Each candidate has put themselves forward for Council and has provided six or more CSP member proposers supporting their nomination. Candidates will now begin canvassing for support from among the CSP membership.
All candidates must adhere to the canvassing guidelines and campaign through positive promotion of their own candidacy.
The CSP Council election webpages will remain live throughout the voting period with information on how to vote and provides Social Media Guidance for members with queries about promoting candidates.
The member voting period opens on 6 June at 9am and closes on 27 June at 5pm.
Candidate statements – detailing their attributes and abilities to work on behalf of the profession as a CSP Council member - will be available from 6 June on the Civica Election Services Limited website and posted to the whole membership to inform their vote.

Although online democracy has spread rapidly, unions are still required to conduct key votes, such as elections and industrial action ballots, through postal vote alone. We understand the frustration with the process and continue to lobby the government but in the meantime we have to comply and provide access to all our members to vote.
The CSP adheres to strict impartiality election rules throughout the elections voting period.
