CSP hosts programme of meetings with members in health board settings to promote community rehabilitation
The CSP in Scotland is keen to engage with members working in rehabilitation in each health board region to provide information on the current policy drivers, advice and guidance on delivering rehabilitation services, and support in developing local and national networks to influence and share good practice.
The Scottish government is pressing ahead with a rehabilitation self-assessment exercise to gather intelligence and data on current rehabilitation provision in Scotland, as part of the rehabilitation framework announced last year. Following the election the Scottish government pledged to implement a Right to Rehab in Scotland by 2025.
CSP Scotland staff are therefore seeking to meet online with members in their health board setting over the coming months to understand and support members. An invitation has been extended to members to join us to discuss the future of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. All meetings are hosted virtually on Microsoft Teams and take place from 12pm-1pm. The dates for each health board are as follows:
Tues 17th Aug – Ayrshire & Arran
Wed 18th Aug – Borders
Tue 24th Aug – Fife
Wed 25th Aug – Forth Valley
Tue 31st Aug – Grampian
Wed 1st Sep – Greater Glasgow & Clyde
Tue 7th Sep – Highland
Wed 8th Sep – Lanarkshire
Wed 15th Sep – Tayside
