Birthday Honours: Queen grants OBE to pioneering digital health physio
A physiotherapist who has helped enhance the digital capability of health professionals in Scotland has been recognised in the Queen’s 2020 Birthday Honours list, announced today.
CSP director of practice and development, Natalie Beswetherick, has received an award from World Physiotherapy Europe region in recognition of her leadership in the profession.
The CSP has welcomed the NHS’s announcement of investment for people with long-term Covid-19 symptoms, and its recognition that long Covid is a severe and long term health condition that requires rehabilitation to recover.
CSP members are encouraged to wear red on 16 October to show support for the Show Racism the Red Card campaign, which funds anti-racism education in England, Wales and Scotland.
Moving Forward review now available as patient resource
A new public and patient-facing guide, developed from the Moving Forward Themed Review carried out by the CSP, Keele University and Versus Arthritis, has been published this month.
