The first part of a comprehensive evaluation of remote physiotherapy services during the Covid-19 pandemic is now complete, with more than 1,600 services - covering all services and settings across the UK - taking part in an online survey.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed.
The research project, which is being led by a team at the University of Manchester, aims to share learning about where virtual physiotherapy has worked well and where it has been less effective.
The research team are now undertaking a full analysis of the survey, and will be contacting some of the participating services to develop case studies.
Professor Sarah Tyson and Dr Helen Hawley-Hague will be presenting and discussing findings from the survey and evidence review at virtual Physiotherapy UK 2020.
The findings from this research project will help inform how physiotherapy services are delivered and the development of future community rehabilitation models.
