‘Hi, my name is Trish and I’m your CSP BAME student officer. The BAME network endeavour to promote a more inclusive CSP and physiotherapy community, aimed at helping the profession better serve a diverse population.
My role is to bring the student perspective to the leadership team and to encourage students to engage with BAME network activity which includes online and in-person events.
‘The BAME network is free to join for all CSP members, and we will endeavour to support you throughout your student journey if you face any specific challenges. We will also help you network with professionals in our supportive community. The BAME network also influences CSP leaders in implementing new policies through activities such as presenting motions at the annual representative conference. We look forward to welcoming you to the CSP BAME network.’
