Following their participation in Belfast Pride last month, CSP members in Northern Ireland attended the parade in Derry/Londonderry continuing their ongoing commitment to support LGBTQIA+ communities across Northern Ireland.

Members took part to show solidarity and raise awareness of the challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals within the healthcare sector.

Ashleigh Newton, CSP steward for the Western Trust emphasised the significance of representation and visibility at such gatherings and said 'being present at Pride events like this is crucial'.

These events are more than just celebrations - they are platforms for advocacy and change. We're committed to creating a world where everyone is free to be themselves, without fear or prejudice. Let's continue to champion love, acceptance, and equality for all.
