1. Nominations
a. Any CSP member or member of CSP staff can nominate a network or person for these awards.
b. You can nominate multiple networks or people, but can only nominate a network or person once.
c. CSP networks and CSP members are allowed to nominate themselves, as long as they meet the terms of the awards.
d. We may tell nominees that they have been nominated, but will not pass on details of the person who has nominated them.
e. Nominations must be made through the online form.
f. Nominations must be received by 10am on 9 September 2024.
2. Eligibility
a. For Network of the Year, the nomination must be for one of the following:
- A CSP diversity network
- A CSP regional network or country board
- A CSP professional network
- The CSP associates' network
- The CSP retirement association
b. For Volunteer of the Year, the nomination must be for a current CSP member
c. For Influencer of the Year, the nomination can be for anyone, whether or not a CSP member, who the nominator believes has made a significant contribution to promoting physiotherapy or supporting the profession.
d. Someone may be awarded volunteer of influencer of the year posthumously if they previously met eligibility under 2b and 2c over the past year.
3. Judging
a. The judging panel is made up of CSP members of staff, appointed by the CSP’s recruitment and engagement strategy group.
b. In order to promote equity, diversity and belonging, for the Volunteer of the Year and Influencer of the Year categories, the judges will only have the supporting statements to draw up a shortlist.
c. The judges may contact the nominator in order to ask for further information about the work of the person or network that they have nominated.
d. The judging panel’s decision is final.
e. The winners will be notified by 30 September, with the results being announced during the welcome reception at the CSP annual conference on 11 October 2024.
