I am a highly specialist Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience of working both within the NHS and privately. I aim to offer specialist rehabilitation within the comfort of your own home, or usual place of residence, to enable you to regain and maintain your independence and maximal level of function. This can be achieved through both hands on Physiotherapy, and the provision of an individualised home exercise therapy programme where appropriate.
I specialise in Neurological Physiotherapy, and restorative rehabilitation following an illness, extended hospital stay or surgery where individuals may be deconditioned or less mobile than usual. I also offer support, advice and treatment to those with mobility and balance problems associated with older age.
The history of your condition will be taken during your first appointment, followed by a comprehensive physical assessment of your function including looking at your posture, movement, power and balance. Together we will agree a plan in order to achieve realistic short and long-term goals and an ongoing rehabilitation programme.
I can travel to surrounding towns and villages, but a journey of over 5 miles may incur an additional charge.
