Databases
CSP eLKAS provide access to several databases:
Using the databases separately allows you make use of the database specific functionality. Many databases feature a subject specific term (thesaurus) that relates to content on those databases. E.g. MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) is the National Library of Medicine controlled vocabulary thesaurus used for indexing articles for PubMed and MEDLINE.

AMED
- Access AMED (Allied and Complementary Medicine Database)
- This database covers 500 relevant journals (many not indexed by other biomedical sources) as well as complementary medicine, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language, podiatry, rehabilitation, and palliative care. It is available on the EBSCO interface.
CINAHL Plus with Full Text
- Access CINAHL Plus with Full Text
- This database is a collection of nursing and allied health journals, providing full text from many journals indexed in CINAHL. It is available on the EBSCO interface.
- The content includes journal articles, healthcare books and book chapters, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, and audio-visuals.

- This database is produced by the US National Library of Medicine, indexes content from biomedical journals. It is available on the EBSCO interface.
- This is not a full text database.
- It covers aspects of clinical medicine, biomedicine, nursing, dentistry, allied health, health policy, and genetics.
Trip Pro
- Access Trip Pro
- The name of Trip comes from ‘Turning Research Into Practice'. It is a clinical search engine designed to allow users to quickly and easily find and use high-quality research evidence to support their practice and/or care. Their motto is ‘Find evidence fast’.

- These eBook collections cover many different aspects of physiotherapy and are bought by the CSP eLKAS.

Embase
- Access Embase
- Embase is a biomedical and pharmacological bibliographic database. It is an index to biomedical literature from 1974 to present, indexing with EMTREE. It is produced by Elsevier and contains over 32 million records from over 8,500 currently published journals. It is available on the OVID interface.
- This is not a full text database.
- It covers drug therapy and pharmacovigilance, clinical and experimental (human) medicine, health policy and management, veterinary science, alternative and complementary medicine.
