An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking physiotherapist to join our physiotherapy team. We aim to provide exceptional clinical care and develop dynamic clinicians who bring innovation to our ever developing service.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and have the ability to work as part of a team, and independently.
The planned movement scheme consists of 6 monthly rotations covering a wide range of specialties including – musculoskeletal, elderly care, Community Rehabilitation Team, medical, stroke unit, neurology. The rotations cross acute, community and out patient specialties giving widespread experience and opportunity to work in the stunning newly furbished facilities at West Cumberland Hospital.
Clinical Supervision and Continuing Professional Development are actively encouraged and you will be expected to take part in our in-service training programme and respiratory on call service.
You must hold a diploma or degree in Physiotherapy; have evidence of continuing professional development and have completed core rotations at a junior level. Experience of working in the NHS is essential. You must be HCPC registered.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:
Standard Check: £26 + Administration cost of £4 = deduction from salary as a one off payment or over 3months at £10 a month
Enhanced Check: £44 + administration cost of £4 = deduction from salary as one off payment or £15 deduction from 1st months salary, £11 deduction from salary over following 3 months.
