Specialist Cardiac Physiologist – Leeds – Salary depending on skills and experience

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is one of the largest hospitals within the Nuffield group, and the largest private provider of healthcare within the region. Our cardiology department comprises of a small team motivated & dedicated cardiac physiologists, cardiographers and administrators who are committed to delivering high quality standards to our patients, whist improving and expanding services.
The Role
Supporting the cardiology department as a Cardiac Physiologist you will;
Work without supervision, across all areas of invasive and non-invasive cardiology.
Demonstrate a good underpinning knowledge of cardiac anatomy & physiology and cardiac investigations.
Interpret results and provide factual reports for diagnostic cardiac investigations.
Enjoy delivering high quality standards of care to both private and NHS patients, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development.
Ensure accurate clinical records are maintained in accordance with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines.
Provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements.
The Person
Suitable candidates must possess either a Degree in Clinical Physiology, or BTEC / HTEC in MPPM or equivalent.
You must currently be registered with the RCCP, AHCS or HCPC as a Clinical Physiologist.
As required for RCCP registration; you will also have a valid Immediate Life Support certificate.
Accreditation with professional bodies such as BSE, IBHRE or BHRS would be desirable but not essential.
An excellent communicator and team worker.
