Physiotherapist

£26,751.73 - £34,470.53 p.a. pro rata (salary banding dependant on skills and experience)

Mon - Fri working pattern (full or part days - primarily term time)

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking to develop your clinical skills within a new environment and improve your work-life balance?

Our small physio team at Queen Alexandra College work alongside curriculum, residential and other therapy staff to support students to manage their physical wellbeing.

With opportunity to develop in the role, we support CPD, in-service training, clinical supervision and skills development. We offer a working pattern with regular working hours (day times only), working Monday to Friday, across 41 weeks of the year (some working outside these hours may be expected on occasion to support staff training, as required). The majority of hours are worked during term-time, with two weeks worked during the summer break (with opportunity to work more flexibly during summer break, as per service needs).

With an experienced Neuro-Physiotherapist in the team for professional guidance, this post would suit a qualified Physio with at least 2 years’ experience keen to develop and consolidate their skills supporting young adults with physical, learning and neuro disabilities.

As well as direct contact with students to develop therapeutic programmes, you will be involved in assessing, planning and evaluating therapy plans and will liaise with parents, carers and other health professionals as required. The role also provides guidance and training for other College staff, as well as providing clinical supervision to our Physio Assistants.
