Ready for a new chapter in your career?

M.A.E.S. Therapy Private Practice is a dynamic, friendly and supportive team and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join us.

If you are passionate about treating children with neurodevelopmental conditions, if ‘hands-on’ is what you’re looking for, then this could be the job for you.

This is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge and further develop your specialist clinical skills, in the context of the treatment of children (babies, toddlers, school-age and adolescents) with CP and similar neurodevelopmental conditions.

About the Role

You will provide individualised treatment for children who are usually attending therapy sessions once or twice per week at the practice. The role would be as a self-employed clinician working part-time. Number of days to be discussed, with the potential to increase hours as the clinic continues to grow. Possibility to move to Full-Time if desired.

You will be willing and eager to learn, outgoing, as well as competent and conscientious, with excellent clinical skills and interaction with children and their parents.

Our team says…

“We thoroughly enjoy working at the M.A.E.S. Studio and benefit from the unique opportunity to further develop our analytical and clinical skills. We are well supported by our friendly team in our work and learning, with regular team discussions and frequent session feedback.”

If you are not already a M.A.E.S. Trained Therapist, it would be expected that you would take the 4-Week M.A.E.S. Therapy Foundation Course if you were successful with your application.  Arrangements for this would be discussed and agreed.

  • Able to demonstrate good handling skills and who is also a confident communicator.
  • Registered with the UK Health & Care Professions Council - HCPC
  • Competent and confident IT user.
  • Show evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
  • Have at least 2 years recent experience treating children with Cerebral Palsy and similar neurodevelopmental conditions.
