As one of three schools in the Faculty, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is the largest School and delivers undergraduate and post graduate courses for a range of health professions including; nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, and most recently diagnostic radiography.

The physiotherapy portfolio includes two pre-registration courses (BSc Physiotherapy and MSc Physiotherapy and Leadership), post-graduate courses (MSc Advancing Physiotherapy Practice, MSc Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a PgCert First Contact Practitioner). We also offer pre-registration apprenticeships at BSc and MSc levels in Coventry and on our new London campus. The existing academic team has been developed to include new teaching fellow roles.

We are currently seeking to recruit a neurological physiotherapist to help deliver the BSc Physiotherapy Integrated Degree Apprenticeship on our new London campus in Vauxhall.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who will join a small team of physiotherapy academic staff who support the London lead to manage the apprenticeship and to support apprentices through all aspects of their learning journey. The role-holder will contribute to the teaching, assessment and management of the apprentices on the London campus.

The post and salary are dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.

The University offers academic and professional development and those without a teaching qualification will need to undertake Coventry University’s PGCHE and/or secure HEA fellowship.
