Vacancy details

Blatchford Clinic is a private prosthetic and orthotic clinical service provider. Most of our clients have undergone complex trauma resulting in life changing injuries. We provide a high level of service combined with the most advanced devices to restore our clients, as far as possible, to their pre-injury level of mobility using products from all suppliers. Working closely with legal professionals, case managers and insurers we provide expert witness services, initial needs assessments and bespoke treatment packages.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Rehabilitation Specialist Physiotherapist to join our clinical team in North of England. You will predominately be based at our Sheffield clinic, providing support to surrounding clinics. There may also be the occasional requirement to cover in the South.

The role

As Lead Rehabilitation Specialist Physiotherapist, you will join a multi-disciplinary team who provide exceptional clinical service to our private clients. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop and enhance your career in a highly specialist field.

Key duties.

  • Assessing, implementing, and monitoring individual rehabilitation plans for our patients
  • Working with patients and their carers to develop and deliver progressive rehabilitation programmes
  • Maintaining excellent medical notes which demonstrate patient outcomes and development
  • Mentoring/supervising other physiotherapists in the team

What are we looking for?

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Previous experience of working in amputee rehabilitation
  • Working experience with orthotic clients
  • Offloading brace experience (desirable)
  • Forward-thinking with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
  • Flexible and innovative approach to provide appropriate solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
