The Fire Fighters Charity exists to support serving and retired fire and rescue service personnel and their families in supporting their mental health, physical health and social needs. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lead Practitioner to join our dynamic multi-professional team based at Marine Court, our purpose built centre in West Sussex. Solution focused and with excellent communication skills you will lead a small team of practitioners and work in partnership with our beneficiaries to understand their needs and goals and develop holistic support to help them reach their potential. Support may be provided through face to face interventions, delivery of group workshops, telephone and web based interactions, with teams working collaboratively and proactively to ensure our services are integrated, effective and, above all, make a genuine difference.
Lead Practitioner
37.5hrs per week
£36,000
4 week rota, working 1 weekend day in 4
Registration as a health care practitioner and membership of an appropriate professional body are essential, as are strong leadership and communication skills, a proactive attitude and an ability to lead by example. The Charity would be interested in receiving applications from any discipline however experience of working with people who present with poor mental health such as stress, anxiety, stress as a result of trauma is essential.
