A physiotherapy role like no other

This professional adviser role will give you the opportunity to use your professional knowledge, skills and experience to lead CSP project activity in key areas of workforce development.  

You will have a particular focus on the fast-paced advanced practice agenda, increasing capacity for physiotherapy students’ practice-based learning, and staffing levels.

You will lead specific projects. These will include to promote and support member engagement in new opportunities for the profession’s growth and development, and to produce and implement new CSP resources.   

You will be part of the CSP’s learning and development team and professional advice team within our Practice & Development directorate, with all the benefits of an environment that promotes strong peer-to-peer support. You will also work as part of cross-organisational teams, contributing to our whole-organisation approach to policy and influencing activity on physiotherapy workforce development and strengthening member engagement.

In addition, you will work with national stakeholders. In this way, you will help to influence policy developments at national and local levels, raise physiotherapy’s profile, and support changes in service delivery to enhance patient care.

Through all your activity, you will contribute to strengthening opportunities for physiotherapy in terms of workforce development, growth and career progression.
