*The CSP operates hybrid working where employees can work between their home and the office. Through discussions with line managers, the CSP encourages employees to decide how, when and where they work best in a way that balances the needs of the CSP, the team and themselves. Homeworking is subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements, which includes a minimum broadband speed of 18Mbps.

Lead for Health Informatics £50,531 per annum Full time, 35 hours per week Permanent contract

Would you like to lead change across physiotherapy practice in the UK, influence national data and digital strategies, and develop how physiotherapists can use data to drive service improvement and innovation? Are you a physiotherapist interested in ehealth and health informatics or are you a health informatician. Could you lead the development of an in house special interest group in health informatics, health innovation and ehealth to develop skills and knowledge in health informatics across our organisation?

In this role, you will work to develop physiotherapy as a leading light in health innovation, ensuring that physiotherapists across the UK collect rigorous data to support service improvement and build the evidence base for physiotherapy. You will also be responsible for creating strategies to ensure that physiotherapists are digital ready, data-enabled and technology aware. This role will require you to work across the organisation to help ensure that our staff are knowledgeable about health informatics, that data and digital expertise is inputted across core corporate objectives, and that all data and digital strategies across the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) are aligned. You will also work to lead the development of a health informatics / ehealth special interest group.

You will have prior experience of health informatics / ehealth, with an excellent understanding of electronic health record systems, data registries and data management, and an understanding of data processing requirements and statistical approaches for quality improvement and research. You will be proactive, organised and have demonstrated experience in project coordination.
