Bank Senior Physiotherapist - Taunton Hospital 



Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest not for profit healthcare provider, is looking for exceptional Bank Senior Physiotherapist  to join at our Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital.





About the Role



This position is to join our ever growing team as one of our Bank Physiotherapists. - The role is for weekend work to cover the inpatient orthopaedic wards.



Within the role you will work as part of an MDT, seeing patients who have had elective surgeries such as TKR's, THR's, ACL reconstructions, Spinal surgery, Shoulder decompressions, Shoulder replacements, injections, and much more. - You will have a thorough induction and training programme and given excellent guidance and mentoring where needed.



You will be required to work Saturday's and Sunday's, with hours varying on the volume of patients that need to be seen, though approximately 12 hours over the weekend.

The Main Clinical Duties and Responsibilities are to: 



•Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to our patient’s needs.

•Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment provided

•Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes.



Your Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Values



BSc Physiotherapy - HCPC and MCSP registered - Experience working in a ward / orthopaedic inpatient setting is desirable - You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. With a commitment to the use of evidence-based practice, you’ll also be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills.



We expect you to be a competent and confident IT user and to be well organised – you’ll have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner. References and DBS checks completed.
