Vacancy details
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, (or multiple part time) band 7, or equivalent, musculoskeletal physiotherapist, to join our very friendly team of clinical specialists (MSK).
This role is based upon a full-time, permanent position, that has been created by the fourth expansion of our First Contact Practitioner contracts. The successful candidate will be primarily based in the Corby area.
We have an in house FCP supervisor who can take you through your part 2, FCP registration, whilst working, but you will need to have satisfied all part 1 requirements, including the free online self-learning modules, prior to starting.
You should be able to demonstrate very strong capabilities in relation to acute clinical assessments alongside the ability to work independently, with confidence, as well as be part of a bigger inclusive team. In light of this we would expect at least 7 years of MSK experience with a proven history of complex MSK caseload management.
We are a small private company that was invited to tender for these services by local PCN’s, rather than us pursuing them, such is our local reputation for quality and outcomes. We now cover in excess of 100,000 people across North Northamptonshire. Being part of the original conception of the service framework design, we were able to create a setting whereby our practitioners are given adequate time to properly assess, triage and advise, so that repeat appointments are kept to a minimum, thus maintaining efficiency.
We do not support the burn out of our workforce, or create poor working environments for practitioner or patients alike, simply to increase turnover. We prefer to get our results from having happy and supported staff, which we find then reflects positively in their clinical work.
Although we are a young clinic (2016) we have grown throughout the difficult economical times that we have all seen, and continue to endure, and hopefully that will give you confidence about our longevity and future growth potential.
We are keen to attract the right individual(s) to join our team so if you are unsure of anything we would encourage you to contact us for a chat. There is normally a solution for most issues.
You must be registered with the CSP and HCPC, as a practicing physiotherapist, and have an up-to-date advanced DBS check. We will not support VISA assisted applications for this role.
We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible so we reserve to right to close the application date early if the right candidate comes forward.
