Job Title:  First Team Physiotherapist (Men’s)

Employer: Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club

Salary: Dependant on skills & experience. To include accommodation allowance for those based outside of Sussex.

Location: American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing

Hours: Full-time, to follow men’s first team schedule

Job Type: 3-4 months fixed term contract (potential to be extended until the end of the season)

Contribute to the success of the club both on and off the pitch

The role will primarily be involved in providing elite optimal performance provision, including but not limited to, manual therapy, assessment and rehabilitation to our men’s first team players ensuring effective management to their medical needs. You will work hard, but the great thing about football is that you will see the results.

 

You will use objective data when available to quantify when players are returning to full fitness / returning to team training and assist the Physiotherapy Manager with injury audit analysis.

 

Due to the nature of the role, we will require you to be flexible, as there will be requirement to work weekends and bank holidays as well as both home and away matches (including potential of European trips!)

 

Your physiotherapist background

This is an important role at the club, so it is essential that the post holder holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree or equivalent, is a qualified membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC), have or working towards a relevant MSc in Sports Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation or Sports and Exercise Medicine.

 

Your career history will include working within a professional sporting environment and extensive experience in a provision of physiotherapy.
