This is an exciting time to join Trent Bridge, the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club as The East Midlands Regional Women’s Programme has moved and is looking to recruit a Lead Physiotherapist at Nottinghamshire CCC working out of Trent Bridge, previously Lightening Cricket were based out of Loughborough University and the professional women’s team play in the Charlotte Edwards T20 Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint 50-over competition, with the programme also involving an Academy and Emerging Players Programme (EPP) 
As the female professional game continues to grow, Science & Medicine support becomes increasingly important, we require an experienced professional practitioner to lead Physiotherapy services across the East Midlands Women’s Programme reporting to the Regional Director of Women’s Cricket 
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work within our Science and Medicine team to lead and deliver high quality Physiotherapy support to elite female cricketers. Alongside the CMO, this role will also be pivotal in ensuring high quality health care is delivered across the women’s pathway.  
The successful candidate will demonstrate high level clinical skills and have significant experience working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and elite sport environments. Registration with the HCPC and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists is essential.  
The appointment will be made based on our current funding within the programme cycle and will run until January 2025. Ideally, we are looking for candidates to start December 2022 or early Jan 2023.

The role does require extended hours and regular travel throughout the UK during the women’s domestic season (April-September) which will include weekends and Bank holidays. The post holder will be based at Trent Bridge Nottingham, NG2 6AG.
