An exciting opportunity has arisen for Physiotherapists and Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) / First Contact Practitioner (FCP) with an injection qualification to join our Physiotherapy team at Practice Plus Group MSK, Buckinghamshire on a permanent, full or part time basis. The service provides an outpatient clinical assessment and treatment service for patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions, as well as providing FCPs in PCNs across Buckinghamshire.

 

About You

 

You will be responsible for managing a case load of patients with varying diagnosis and/or highly complex needs using evidence based and/or patient centred principles. You will be working closely with the Clinical Director to support a team of physiotherapists and AHPs, including supporting and coordinating clinical education within the service. We will look to you as a source of expertise in the management of the service by providing advice to patients and other healthcare professionals, GP’s and Consultants. You will be also expected to split your role with FCP work in local GP surgeries. This will give you a great opportunity to follow the patient’s pathway throughout and get the best from both worlds; the great thrills of an FCP role and the support of working in a large MSK service. We have two FCP clinical supervisors who will guide you to get FCP/AP accreditation if you need to.

You will be a dedicated Physiotherapist with a valid HCPC PIN, responsible for managing a case load of patients with varying diagnosis and/or highly complex needs using evidence based and/or patient centred principles.

You will be based mainly at our sites in High Wycombe or Aylesbury, however, may be expected to travel to our other sites from time to time .As you will be travelling between our sites you will need a full UK driver’s license and access to your own vehicle. There is no on-call or compulsory weekend work to allow for a strong work life balance.
