This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive team of physiotherapy researchers and educators. Applications are encouraged from academics and aspiring academics with an interest in making a difference to the teaching and learning of future graduates and contributing to our research profile.



You will contribute to our suite of pre-registration programmes, including a four year integrated Masters and a two year pre-registration Masters, alongside our well established BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. We also have a thriving postgraduate portfolio, with a developing profile around ACP and FCP roles. We sit within the School of Health Professions which supports an ethos of interprofessional education



You will:

  • contribute to the delivery of outstanding pre-registration and specialist postgraduate teaching and learning, facilitating a high quality student experience
  • take part in the all areas of academic practice including recruitment, clinical visiting and personal tutoring
  • support our drive to be at the forefront of practice through research and/or professional development activities

You will be an experienced physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council with appropriate academic and professional experience. You will compliment the strengths of our existing team: we particularly welcome applications from people with a proven track record in the forefront of Rehabilitation, for example, neurological, older adults, or respiratory. You will need to be a team player who is flexible, creative and enthusiastic. A higher degree (completed MSc or working towards PhD) is expected.

Presentation and informal interview

Presentation 10mins (plus 5 mins discussion) ‘Embedding rehabilitation into a contemporary

physiotherapy curriculum: challenges and solutions’

Interview approx. 30-45mins
