Salary range: £37,467 to £40,927 pro rata £14,986 to £16,370 per annum. Part Time 0.4 fte (2 days per week)

We are currently seeking a part time Lecturer in Physiotherapy practice learning, to join the Physiotherapy Team within the Institute of Sport, Nursing and Allied Health. You will contribute to the development and assessment of practice learning opportunities for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Physiotherapy students, providing them with a high-quality, research informed educational experience, leading to an understanding of healthcare.

You will also contribute to developments in response to the professional and interprofessional agendas, supporting collaborations with clinical colleagues to develop and prepare appropriate clinical placements including educational audit and clinical liaison. As a member of the teaching team in a developing capacity you will be provided with assistance to adapt into the Higher Education environment, with the support of a mentor and/or senior colleague.

You will hold a good relevant undergraduate degree with further professional or academic qualifications at Masters level in Physiotherapy; be a practicing Physiotherapist currently on HCPC register and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). You will be able to demonstrate the ability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of students and inspire them to learn. Current experience of working in the NHS and/or HEI is essential.
