Safe Rehab for people living with Long COVID – a webinar for all London based CSP members took place on Tuesday 29 March.
More than 100 CSP members from London came together to attend the virtual bite sized opportunity to learn about Long COVID. Drawing inspiration from feedback received from the last CSP London member meeting the session will brought together guest speakers, CSP members and CSP staff who shared information about safe rehabilitation for people living with Long COVID.
The meeting was aimed at clinicians with little to no experience of working in specialist Long COVID services and featured conversations with
- Rebecca Livingston, London Post COVID Clinical Lead Specialty Advisor, speaking about what clinicians need to look out for and how to approach rehabilitation safely in Long COVID
- Darren Brown, Chair of Long COVID Physio and Specialist Physiotherapist, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust speaking about greater and meaningful involvement of people living with Long COVID in all responses
- Helen Harte, CSP Professional Advisor, speaking about the CSP's view on lessons learnt from Long COVID and how we can use this new knowledge to shape the future of practice.
There was also a Q&A session.
The session was delivered by CSP staff for all CSP members based in London. Tickets were free of charge.
