The CSP stands with our members and their player colleagues in football and other sports in challenging racist abuse of players and staff. As part of our ongoing commitment to be an anti-racist organisation we are therefore joining a social media blackout this weekend.
We believe that social media companies are not doing enough to remove abusive and discriminatory content from their platforms and call on them to take responsibility for protecting the rights of their users.
Our accounts will remain silent from 3pm on Friday until 11.59pm on Monday.
