We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join the team at a one of our corporate sites at their head office in Farnborough. You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from sports to workplace related injuries and will play a key role in helping our partner’s employees achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to.



The role is based at our brand new corporate site clinic with access to a brand new rehabilitation centre and gym where you will treat and advise employees. You will work within a multidisciplinary team made up of occupational health, practice nurses and the emotional wellbeing. Referral to these services is actively encouraged.



We believe in our people and to help you develop your skills and progress your career in Nuffield Health you will be supported by your regional clinical lead, have protected CPD time, access to a local in-service training program and training events organised by the Nuffield Health Academy including both clinical and leadership courses.

 

This role is one day a week supporting office hours, with additional hours available in triage (working from home) or other locations either in this corporate client or our gyms and hospitals.

The Main Clinical Duties and Responsibilities are to:

  • Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to our patient’s needs.
  • Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment provided
  • Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes
  • Strong MSK and occupational health focus, including workplace assessments and rehabilitation plan writing



Your Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Values



With a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you’ll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.



You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. There is a strong focus on open and effective communication for our partner so that recommendations can be implemented within the workplace setting. With a commitment to the use of evidence-based practice, you’ll also be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills and first point of contact autonomy.



We expect you to be a competent and confident IT user and to be well organised – you’ll have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.  It’s equally important that you share our values. Salary -Up to £37,000 dependent on skills and experience
