The Injured Jockeys Fund is a registered charity which has been supporting raceriding jockeys and their families for over 50 years.
As a result of relocation, we are now seeking TWO highly motivated and professional Lead Clinicians, who will most likely be experienced MSK Physiotherapists, to join our small multi –disciplinary teams.
The locations of these full time vacancies are:
IJF Jack Berry House, Malton, North Yorkshire, and
IJF Oaksey House, Lambourn, Berkshire.
- Both positions offer extremely exciting opportunities to work with elite sports injury, complex trauma rehabilitation and long-term charity beneficiary support. A comprehensive understanding of sports and orthopaedic injury and rehabilitation is essential.
- The lead clinician will take responsibility for clinical matters and for ensuring clinical excellence across the board. Previous lead role experience, coupled with a thorough understanding of the importance, and of how to apply clinical protocol and team supervision is essential. The role is ultimately expected to settle at a 60/40 ratio of practical / managerial administration work.
A strong team ethos and professional bearing, ideally with NHS experience, is preferred. Applicants must be registered with their appropriate body.
These full-time minimum NHS Band 7 equivalent lead physiotherapist roles will commence in early spring 2020, on a permanent full time contract (based on a 37.5 hr week)
