You will be joining a College with an Outstanding Ofsted rating, and a successful Therapy team that works in partnership with lecturers/teachers and support staff to support our learners in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies.

Due to recent expansion we are looking for Specialist Physiotherapists to join us, so whatever your current band we would be delighted to hear from you.  You are welcome to speak to our HR Department for further information prior to application.

Students within Orchard Hill College have a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs including complex autism; speech, language and communication difficulties and physical disabilities including multi-sensory impairment and complex health needs.

Pupils within the OHC&AT have a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties; social, emotional and mental health; learning abilities and additional needs.

We require Specialist Physiotherapists (Band 7 and Band 6) to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including SALT’s OT’s and Music Therapists). You will support our students in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will also work very closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as educating and supporting teaching staff in such aspects as postural management, manual handling, delivering therapy programmes, aquatic therapy and use of specialised equipment. In addition the post will involve delivering training to other staff and provision of aquatic therapy. Band 6 Therapists will be responsible to and supported by the Band 7 equivalent Physiotherapist as well as the Lead for Therapies.
