We are looking for a self-motivated and forward thinking clinician who is a strong team player with the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. Possessing a solid foundation in core clinical skills you will embrace innovation and be committed to following evidence based clinical practice.
Based within Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, as part of the Rehabilitation team you will have sound clinical skills in general rehabilitation with an interest in non-acute respiratory rehabilitation. This post will involve working as a member of the rehabilitation team responsible for the delivery of inpatient care at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, as well as providing an opportunity to be involved in the local community based pulmonary rehabilitation service.
The Physiotherapy Service encourages staff development through local and Health Board wide in-service training programmes across different specialities, as well as participation in speciality forums, clinical audit, research and clinical supervision and mentoring.
We have a structured personal appraisal system with annual reviews underpinned by the Knowledge and Skills Framework. You will be actively involved in assisting in the education and mentoring of rotational staff and physiotherapy students whilst on placement from from Cardiff University.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
