We’re looking to recruit a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiography) to join us at our Leeds Hospital.
The successful candidate will support the cardiology department in the delivery of all areas of Echocardiography including transthoracic, Consultant Led Stress Echocardiography, Bubble Studies and Consultant Led TOE. Experience in Paediatric and Congenital Echocardiography would also be an advantage. There is the potential to lead and expand this service as well as the opportunity to develop the skills for other specialist areas delivered in the department.
You will need to be currently registered with the RCCP, or equivalent, as a Clinical Physiologist. You will hold a BSc Clinical Physiology and/or BTEC ONC and HNC qualification or equivalent - as required for RCCP registration. It would be desirable for candidates to have accreditation with one or more of the following relevant professional bodies.
• SCST - Society for Cardiological Science and Technology
• BSE - British Society of Echocardiography
• BHRS – British Heart Rhythm Society
