The CSP has launched a consultation on new MSK service standards and is calling on MSK physiotherapists, service leads, patients and commissioners to share their views on them.
Based on robust evidence for the clinical and cost-effectiveness of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, the CSP has developed the new service standards to support the improvement, design and delivery of MSK services.
The standards have been specifically developed to be accessible for a range of users, including clinicians, commissioners, service leads and patients.
Talking about the new consultation, Julie Blackburn, CSP Professional Advisor (North West), said: 'We’re keen for members to share their thoughts on the new service standards to help us ensure that they are accessible, will support service improvement and that they encompass all key areas.'
Once the consultation closes on 10 October the resource will be reviewed in light of all the feedback and a final version will be published by the end of November 2021.
