After Bow House won a Western Gazette business award, practice owner Tricia Robinson said she was ‘over the moon’ to be recognised by people from outside the physiotherapy profession.
Ms Robinson has run the practice in Langport for 27 years.
‘We are outpatient physiotherapists, covering a wide range of conditions,’ she said. ‘We have five physios – including me – plus complementary therapists and I am very proud of our team.’
Bow House office manager Angie Cox said the practice had competed with large corporations. The judges visited the practice and had been impressed with its high level of care.
‘Often people are quite nervous when they first come in for treatment,’ she said. ‘We like to make them feel they are being looked after when they walk through the door and throughout their treatment.’
