Physio academics and students at the University of Salford have teamed up to produce a short exercise-promoting video, following on from Sport England’s This Girl Can campaign of last year.
Louise Henstock says women should be exercising regardless of body image
‘Sweat like a pig, feel like a fox’ declares one caption in the Salford Girls Can video, filmed on campus in the university’s gym and pool.
Louise Henstock, lecturer in physiotherapy at the University of Salford, told Frontline: ‘I’m hoping the film will highlight the need for more women to participate in sport and that exercise should be done, regardless of body image.’
