This all day in-person event runs from 9.30am to 4pm. It is free for CSP members to attend, and lunch and refreshments will be provided.
The conference will immerse delegates in conversations about the unique workforce demands of services across the region and explore solutions featuring presentations on topics including:
- the different roles in the profession and career progression, applying skills in different ways, including in leadership, and using research to develop a portfolio career
- creating and locating a workforce that is best positioned to service patient needs and demands, including addressing health inequalities
- recruitment and retention challenges and solutions
- the broader physiotherapy workforce and effective utilisation and development of roles including the support workforce
- how the voluntary sector can be harnessed more effectively
In addition to presentations, there will be an opportunity to engage with interactive workshops and benefit from the opportunity to come together will fellow professionals across the region. We will also be welcoming CSP chief executive John Cowman to the conference.
