Join the PD Warrior (Level 1&2 Bundle) - Neuroplasticity in Parkinson's Course

The course comprises two parts: e-learning theory (Level 1) and a one-day in-person workshop (Level 2). The e-learning includes video modules that teach the foundations of neuroplasticity to improve function, quality of life, and long-term exercise behaviour in people with Parkinson’s disease. This must be completed prior to the practical workshop.

The in-person workshop demonstrates how to bring the core neuroplastic principles into clinical practice. Participants will work alongside people with Parkinson’s and other clinicians through assessment and treatment planning.

PD Warrior is changing lives AND clinical practice. Come along and see for yourself!

What you will learn

  1. 7 core principals of neuroplasticity and how to implement them effectively

  2. Pathophysiology of Parkinson’s

  3. Latest evidence underpinning intensive and neuro-active exercise prescription

  4. Tailor exercise effectively for the 3 types of Parkinson’s

  5. Empower patients and create long-term behaviour
