A complex and difficult world seems to be leading to increasing health problems, so developing tools to enhance our diagnosis and improve the treatment and management of our increasingly complex patients may pay dividends for clinicians and patients.
As a primary healthcare clinician, over the past few years I am finding increasing levels of undiagnosed pathology in patients and yet also increasing numbers of patients with complex functional problems, many with coexisting co-morbidities and coexisting pathology (some previously diagnosed, some not).
The course is open to clinicians/practitioners of all disciplines, not just Osteopaths, interested in developing their understanding to “unpick” the threads of these complex clinical problems and by increasing their use of diagnostic tests, their interpretation and then developing more integrated/holistic treatment/management strategies.
The patients covered will include a variety of complex presentations with a mixture of pathology and functional problems.
The one day, in person, course will take place at The Royal Society of Medicine. Refreshments will be provided and a light lunch. There will be an option to attend a post course dinner at a local restaurant and for those wishing to stay over accommodation can be booked separately at The Royal Society of Medicine,
The maximum number of delegates is limited to 18 as the aim of the course is to be as interactive as possible.
The cost of the course is £375 per person with an option of an EQ2 or 1 MBR haematology and biochemistry blood profile at a significant discount.
